| Small Libraries in Chamchamal Area |
In coordination and support of Sulaimaniyah Provincial Council, CSI started supplying 150 villages in five Districts of this Governorate with small libraries. The first district was Chamchamal area in which 30 villages coved. Each library was supplied with more than 150 book titles and a group of young people created to be in contact with the CSI youth groups to conduct advocacy and awareness activities. CSI will supply more than 150 villages in Sulaimaniyah Governorate.
Totally More than 23000 books, magazines and different references including cultural, economic, and political and others will be disseminated in the rural areas.
This project is continuation of some youth groups’ activities in Chamchamal District to supply village youth with references while they were working voluntarily to collect donations from rich people and purchase books and bookshelves.
